Andrew Halseid-Budd is a Norwegian based, English born, photographer with over twenty years' experience in the industry. Starting his career in 1995, Andrew worked for Alan Cozzi Sports Photography in Hertfordshire before moving, in 1998, to Action Images PLC in London. He worked for Action Images in two spells until 2004 during which time he also worked for one year as a staff photographer for the Press Association.

Andrews work has taken him to all corners of the globe, working independently and as part of a team on both editorial and commercial briefs. He has covered countless major sporting events, including FIFA football world cups in France 1998 and Japan 2002.  

Andrew has also covered cricket, and rugby world cups in England and Australia, European football championships in Belgium, Holland and Ukraine, world athletics championships and The British Lions tour to Australia in 2001. He has also worked closely with sports teams including Tottenham Hotspur football club, Saracens Rugby club and the England cricket team, which took him on tours to Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and United Arab Emirates.

Since 2004 Andrew has worked as a photographer whilst also building a successful career as a Landscape Architect, first in England, and now, in Stavanger, Norway. 

Andrew moved to Norway in 2011 and the first town he lived in was Alta, deep inside the Arctic Circle where he worked as a Landscape Architect as well as a freelance photographer. During his time in Arctic Norway Andrew documented his experiences in this extreme climate and environment and had some of his work shown at an exhibition in Hammerfest in February 2014.

Andrew has since 2014 been based in Stavanger, Norway and continues his work as a Landscape Architect and freelance photographer.

Andrew Halseid-Budd er en Engelskfødt fotograf, bosatt i Norge, med over 20 års erfaring i bransjen. Han startet sin karriere i 1995 da han jobbet for Alan Cozzi Sports Photography i Hertfordshire, før han flyttet til Action Images PLC i London i 1998. Han jobbet for Action Images i to omganger frem til 2004, hvor han også jobbet et år som fast fotograf (staff photographer) for Press Association.

Andrews oppdrag har sendt ham til alle verdenshjørner hvor han har jobbet både alene og som en del av et lag på redaksjonelle og kommersielle oppgaver. Han har dekket utallige store sportsarrangement, inklusiv FIFAs fotball VM i Frankrike i 1998 og Japan i 2002.

Andrew har dekket cricket- og rugbyverdensmesterskap I England og Australia, europamesterskap i fotball i Belgia, Nederland og Ukraina, verdensmesterskap i friidrett og The British Lions turnering i Australia i 2001. Han har også jobbet tett med sportsklubber som Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Saracens Rugby Club og Englands landslag i cricket, noe som sendte ham på turneringer i Pakistan, Sri Lanka og de Forente Arabiske Emirater.

Siden 2004 har Andrew jobbet som frilansfotograf samtidig med at han har bygget en vellykket karriere som landskapsarkitekt, først i England, og nå i Stavanger, Norge.

Andrew flyttet til Norge I 2011 og bodde først i Alta, langt innenfor den arktiske sirkelen, hvor han jobbet som landskapsarkitekt og frilansfotograf. I løpet av hans tid i det arktiske Norge dokumenterte han sine opplevelser i dette ekstreme miljøet og klimaet, og hadde noe av sitt arbeid vist på en utstilling i Hammerfest i februar 2014.

Andrew har siden 2014 vært bosatt I Stavanger, Norge, og fortsetter sitt arbeid innen landskapsarkitektur og frilansfotografi.
