Spring in my step

In Norway, you can´t always rely on the weather to identify which season it happens to be. However, this year, on the 14th of March, there was no mistaking that this was indeed, the first day of spring. The sun was shining, the weather was warm(ish), it was my birthday, so I took the day off work and headed out with my camera.

I decided to take a walk around the eastern side of Stavanger, my home town, because this is where the town meets the fjord and where you can escape from the busy centre. A walk in this direction also takes you through the old industrial area where you can see traces of what life was like before the oil revolution of recent years.
